Let the Texas 4-H Center host your next camp!
For over 40 years, guests of all ages have come to central Texas to experience camp life at its best! Year-round camp rental availability offers groups the opportunity to schedule a program that best suits their needs. Campers create lasting memories while they meet new friends, experience adventures away from home and try out a variety of the Texas 4-H Centers’ recreational activities and fun, educational activities.
The 4-H Conference Center is administered by professional staff of Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service. Accredited by American Camp Association since 1975, you are assured the facilities and programs at the 4-H Conference Center meet or exceed a minimum industry standard.
While at the Texas 4-H Center, your campers can participate in a wide variety of scheduled activities. Some of the most popular choices include:
- Swimming in a 40’ x 75’ pool, complete with three slides, an interactive water feature, and zero-entry access
- Kayaking or canoeing and learning to work as a team
- Archery and riflery
- Challenge Course, both low and high elements
- Nature trails
- Lakeside fishing
- Basketball, softball, pickleball, and volleyball are all available
- Foosball in the Recreation Room
The home-cooked meals at the Texas 4-H Center are hearty and delicious. Our food service department will gladly prepare meals to suit dietary, religious or cultural needs; just let us know in advance. Fresh baked, homemade rolls and desserts are two of the reasons to choose the 4-H Center for your next camp!
The dormitories at the Texas 4-H Center are modern and climate controlled. Restroom and shower facilities are located within each unit. Each dormitory houses 26 persons in twin-size beds. Linens are not provided, but can be requested for an additional charge. Four dormitories offer wheelchair accessibility. Each dormitory also has a 10’x10′ common area for informal group meetings and visiting.
