The 4-H Center is seeking PART-TIME help in our food service department. Food service experience is helpful, but not required. It’s a great opportunity for homemakers and retirees. Food Service Worker
The 4-H Center is seeking full-time help in our kitchen department. The Food Service Worker, under supervision, is responsible for preparing food and beverages to standardized recipes.
-Assists cooks in production and service functions.
-Cleans work area, equipment, utensils, dishes, and silverware.
-Stores food in designated containers and storage areas.
-Prepares a variety of foods according to customer orders or supervisor instructions.
-Portions the food and places it on plates for service.-Oversee maintenance of food service equipment
-Perform other job related duties as required
-Prepares food and beverages using standardized recipes
-Works in a ‘team environment’ to prepare and deliver food to clientele
-Verify delivered supplies for quantity and quality. Supervise food storage and maintain inventory control.
-Seek client input regarding food quality and make adjustments as needed
-Manage special diet requests, testing and modifying recipes to meet client needs
-Supervise and assign duties to employees engaged in preparing, handling and serving food
Maintenance Worker I
The 4-H Center is seeking full-time help in our maintenance department. The Maintenance Worker I, under supervision, maintains buildings and equipment for assigned department.
- Performs preventative maintenance, repairs and service work on machinery, equipment, and fixtures.
- Performs maintenance, construction, and repair work.
- Operates machinery to include drill press, sharpeners, table saws, chain saws, lawn mowers, edgers, weed eaters, and other miscellaneous equipment.
- May assist in moving equipment and assists in special set-ups.
